BS in Information Technology

Bachelor of Science in Information Technology (BSIT) program is an in-depth exposure to computer hardware and software technologies. It prepares students to be IT professionals who are able to perform installation, operation, development, maintenance and administration of computer applications. The BSIT aims to gear up students as “Information Technologist” who can assist individuals and organizations in solving problems using different techniques in information technology (IT).

The BSIT program equips students with the basic ability to conceptualize, design and implement software applications. It also provides experience in the development of office support (word processing, spreadsheet, database and accounting), intranet and internet and specialized professional software (multi-media, website development and e-Commerce). It also offers background in mathematical and computing principles.


Certifications:

The BSIT program is designed to provide graduates with competency in programming and in computer system servicing by certification – NCI’s provided by TESDA and other third party companies such as Microsoft and CISCO.
